Nottingham's 12-month moratorium on data center construction heads to a town vote

Nottingham's planning board voted unanimously in favor of a 12-month moratorium on data center construction, sending the measure to a special town meeting for residents to decide. The pause is meant to give the town of roughly 5,200 people time to study environmental and fiscal impacts, including that large data centers can use up to 5 million gallons of water per day.
