'We don't want it': Public hearing held in Solon Township over potential data center zoning

Solon Township residents packed a planning commission public hearing to oppose a proposed data center, voicing fears about water contamination, property devaluation and environmental damage. The commission unanimously postponed the zoning discussion for one month. Residents, organized through the Stop Solon Township Data Center group, requested an extension of the township's existing six-month moratorium set to expire in August.
